Summary

The first half of the clash pitting host Russia and African Representatives Egypt has ended goalless.

The Egyptian who had been boosted by Champion league finalists and English Premier League top scorer Mohammed Salah started off slowly but grew stronger as the final quarter approached. The Pharaohs managed to make several threats at Russia goal but they were all unfruitful.

By the 20th Minute, the hosts Russia five shots while Egypt had only two. The hunt for the opening goal continued but no team was able to find the back of the net.

Nigerian songstress and Opera ambassador, Simi has expressed her dissatisfaction with Super Eagles forward Odion Ighalo and threatened to beat the Changchun Yatai player whenever she sees him.
