“Buhari Shouldn’t Have Signed The Budget”-Sani

Senator Shehu Sani, representing Kaduna Central has faulted President Muhammadu Buhari for signing into law the 2018 appropriation bill despite the alleged infractions.

The presidency had alleged the National Assembly of some irregularities in the composition of the budget.

To Sani,  the Pen for our signatures should be propelled and controlled by the force of conscience and not the force of compulsion.

He said that the President should not have signed a document he considers full of infractions. “Signature, grudgingly or happily is the Crown of Consent,” he said.
